Trials-James 1:1-12
Series: James

James is the earliest book written in the New Testament. He begins by helping the Jewish believers to properly understand and react to trails that would come into their lives. Paul will describe how we must find our peace and trust in Christ. Satan wants to cause worry to rob of us of the tranquility we can have in Christ.

Paul would not allow anything to rob himself of his joy. In our passage today we find that he understood that he had to keep his focus. There is always room for growth when it comes to the life of the believer. Paul understood that fact and he wanted all to move forward in their         understanding of salvation.

Father’s Day is a time we honor those who invested and provided for us. Today we want to say thank you to our fathers. We want to see some examples from Scripture of fathers who set the proper atmosphere for their home. We want to challenge all fathers to be the spiritual strength of their homes.
